Roma Aeterna Chapters 41–44
Focusing on Livy’s Ab Urbe Condita and other classical texts, this course consolidates students’ knowledge of Latin prose. It covers the potential subjunctive (both definite and indefinite), the historical infinitive, conditions in oratio obliqua, further uses of the subjunctive, sequence of tenses, and various uses of the ablative and dative. Students will also study classical rhetorical techniques and stylistic variation.
