This course is designed for students who have developed an advanced proficiency in Latin and are ready to engage with unadapted texts by Livy and Cornelius Nepos. It covers relative purpose clauses (forms of qui + subjunctive), syncopated forms, genitive of characteristic, further uses of the potential subjunctive, and advanced stylistic features such as the accumulation of genitives and technical vocabulary related to Roman political discourse.
